I didn’t start watching until right before Keith Urban’s performance.  I liked Alicia Keys and Jay-Z’s song and the Black Eyed Peas’ performance, and then there was Lady Gaga… She’s so very strange.  Her outfit was pretty intense, although I think Rihanna’s costume beat hers.  Green Day…  I’m really tired of hearing that “21 Guns” song.  It’s so boring and it doesn’t show any of their musical prowess.  And Adam Lambert…  I wasn’t too impressed by his performance either.  Ah well, they don’t do these things for my benefit I guess.  I’m glad Whitney Houston won the Lifetime Excellence award.  Of all the musicians out there, she definitely deserves it.  Kings of Leon should have one Artist of the Year.
